The challenge
An operator-led advisory firm sells judgment, which is about the hardest thing there is to put on a website. MB Systems Group had the track record. What they lacked was a way to say it that three very different readers would each recognize as their own, because a founder, a private equity investor, and an acquirer all want something different from the same firm. The site also had to earn its own traffic, ranking for competitive transactional searches from a standing start.
What we did
- 1
Build the site around their framework
Everything on the page hangs off the Enterprise Value Scale, the model MB Systems already uses with clients. Prospects meet the method before they meet the pitch.
- 2
Speak to three readers at once
Founders, private equity firms, and acquirers each get positioning written for them. The core message stays intact, and nobody has to work out which parts apply to them.
- 3
Build it to rank
Content silos and semantic HTML aimed at high-intent transactional search, on an Astro.js foundation quick enough to compete for page one.
The outcome
MB Systems Group now reads as a tier-one advisory partner rather than a firm explaining itself. The framework does the trust-building early, so sales conversations start further along than they used to, and the site pulls in the kind of search traffic that turns into consultations.
